Create a category
Go to Profile → Categories (web) or the menu → Categories (mobile), then + New category: give it a name, a colour and an emoji.
Choose the colour
Beyond the 12 preset colours, you can aim more precisely:
- Web: tap the "custom colour" swatch (colour wheel) for the full picker.
- Mobile: pick from the "More colours" palette below the base colours.
Assign a recipe to a category
On a recipe page, in the Categories section, tap Add or Edit and check the categories you want. A recipe can belong to several categories.
Filter by category
In Recipes: and in the add-to-plan window: use the "All categories" menu at the top to show one category at a time.
Tip
Create the categories that suit you: "Quick dinners", "Lunches", "Desserts", "Sunday cooking"… They work everywhere you look for a recipe.
